The late 90’s have seen a significant decrease in general pricing (premiums) while underlying claims, in most cases, have gradually increased. Many say that the two conditions actually crossed and the result is finally beginning to show up on company balance sheets. Industry experts point to the A “soft” P&C market is nothing new.
