The 4 groups showcased here are, in my opinion, the heavyweights of their respected genres. Infected Mushroom has taken the psychedelic trance medium and used classical musical training to take it to new heights. Orbital were an English techno duo formed in 1989, consisting of brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll, who proved that techno music can be enjoyable as more than just "dance music". Shpongle is a collaboration of jazz flautist Raja Ram and trance artist Simon Posford who fuse trance music with regular instruments that takes alot of inspiration from folk music around the world.
