The showcase race day is among Hong Kong’s most glamorous occasions, mixing elite sport with high-end chic, and this 20th international edition of the prestigious 2000m contest promises to be one of the hottest ever staged. Five top-class overseas raiders are set to take their places in the 12-strong field; among them the exciting South African champion Vercingetorix, France’s outstanding stalwart Cirrus Des Aigles, and the Japanese classic winner Epiphaneia. In the FORM GUIDE, the PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS table provides you with a bird-eye's view of the race. This at-a-glance guide gives you a full form summary of the horses in a simple and concise table. Another handy tool is the INTERNATIONAL RATINGS CHART. In weight-for-age races like the Audemars Piguet QEII Cup, generally speaking, the higher a horse's rating, which is based on racing performance, the better its chance to win. A preliminary SPEED CHART has been included to assist in identifying likely positions in running.
