The Cabinet of India, also known as the Union Cabinet of India, is the collective decision-making body of the Government of India, consists of the Prime Minister and the cabinet ministers. The Cabinet is the ultimate decision-making body of the executive within the Westminster system of government in traditional constitutional theory. The Cabinet Secretary provide assistance to the council of ministers and acts as an advisor.[1] Ministers of State assist the Cabinet ministers in their work.[2]

Cabinet Ministers

All cabinet ministers are mandated by the constitution to be members of either House of the ,[3] but they are not entitled to vote therein(as per article 88 of the constitution). There are three categories of ministers of which union cabinet minister holds the highest rank. The present cabinet consists of 23 ministers. The Cabinet ministers are listed below:[4][5]
