KUNM Documentary Wins Two Awards The locally produced documentary series on America’s energy crisis, “Running on Empty,” received a New Mexico Associated Press Broadcasters Award and a National Headliner Award. Produced by Vision Trust, Inc., an Albuquerque-based non-profit, under the auspices of KUNM, “Running on Empty” aired during May 2001. KUNM distributed the documentary to public radio stations nationwide last Jim Cochran, Virginia Stephens and Howard Stephens produced summer.
