ADMIRALTY ISLAND NATIONAL MONUMENT GENERAL STIPULATIONS 1. Helicopter use in Wilderness is not authorized. 2. Group size is limited to 12 or less (including guides). No more than two groups may use a site per day. If two groups are on site at the same time, they must be out of sight and sound of each other at all times and must not encounter one another. 3. Use of Forest Service public use cabins is authorized. Reservations and payment must be made independently through www.recreation.gov. 4. Camping is not permitted at the shelter in Windfall Harbor. 5. Any photography/filming activities must not interfere with other public use or special use permit holders. 6. Pack Creek Bear Viewing Area is authorized for filming. Separate site access permits are required for all use of the area and quantities are limited. All personnel must adhere to the guidance of rangers on site and stay on designated trails. All filming activities at Pack Creek must be coordinated at least 30 days in advance with the site manager. 7. Unmanned aircraft systems (i.e. drones) are not allowed in Wilderness. If filming outside of designated Wilderness areas, use of unmanned aircraft systems is NOT authorized without obtaining a Certificate of Authorization from the FAA. 8. Video productions in Wilderness should include information about the ecological, geological, or scientific features of Wilderness, or its historical, educational, scenic, or solitude aspects (FSM 2709.11). Information can be found in the Kootznoowoo Wilderness Education Plan and at Wilderness.net. 9. Credits shall include: filmed under a Special Use Permit on the Admiralty Island National Monument, Tongass National Forest. 10. The permit holder will provide Admiralty Island National Monument with a copy of the final production. 01/2016 rev. .
