Stumpf and Gordon Weary OPEN FILE 1997- 1Oa INTRODUCTION - - - - This paper describes selected results of a till in low-lying drift-covered regions of the northern Interior geochemical sampling program conducted in the Old Fort Plateau. For example, prior till and lake sediment Mountain map area (NTS 93 M/1) by the British geochemistry surveys in the Nechako River map ania Columbia Geological Survey as part of a comprehensive (NTS 93F) to the south were successful in delineating survey of the entire Babine copper porphyry belt. The several areas of known mineralization (Cook et al., 1995; results of complimentary lake sediment geochemistry ad Levson and Giles, 1997) and in revealing locations of new bedrock geology mapping progms are presented by Cook mineralized zones. V6C 2W2 August 23, 2007 Executive Summary The Nechako Enhancement Society (NES), a joint partnership of Alcan Inc. and the Province of British Columbia, is considering building a Cold Water Release Facility (CWRF) at Kenney Dam on the Nechako Reservoir. The CWRF would draw cold deep water from the reservoir to reduce the temperature of the Nechako River for fish migration. The NES has requested an assessment of the ability of the CWRF to deliver up to 170 m3/s of 10 ºC water between July 20 and August 20 (a total of 0.47 km3). We have examined the physical limnology of the two basins adjacent to Kenney Dam (Knewstubb and Natalkuz lakes). In particular, we have: • Collected temperature profiles in the summer of 2005, 2006 and 2007; these were compared with data from 1990 (Limnotek) and 1994 (Triton). -

BORDENTOWN TO ROEBLING VIA THE RIVERLINE The tracks for the light rail train you are riding on were laid upon the right of way of the Camden & Amboy Railway Company, chartered in 1830 along with the Delaware & Raritan Canal Company (known as the “Joint Companies”) and laid in the1830s between Camden and Amboy. Both railroad and canal officially opened in 1834, but sections of the railroad were in service for freight in1833 with horse-drawn cars. Tied together and pulled by steam tugs, canalboats carrying coal from the Lehigh and Schuylkill Valleys would cross the river from Pennsylvania’s Delaware Canal. A cable ferry (1848-1912) and outlet locks at Lam- bertville and New Hope made the trip from the Lehigh Valley to Trenton much shorter, via the Feeder of the D & R. Schuylkill Valley coal continued to cross the river from Philadelphia and Bristol, entering the D&R at the Bor- dentown Lock (#1) at the mouth of Crosswicks Creek. What to look for Crosswicks Creek where it flows into the Delaware River Bluffs on the left on which Bordentown was built and the narrow strip of land under the bluffs where this train is traveling. Bordentown City is bordered on the south by Black’s Creek. Slips in the river shoreline on the lee side of Newbold Island where canalboats from Pennsylvania transferred their cargo (coal) to waiting trains or waited for entrance into Lock #1. Abandoned canalboats in the channel between Newbold Island and the shore, preserved because they are always wet. We have planned this trip for low tide so they can be seen. -

Maps for the pipeline route from the tunnels to the Kitimat Terminal (KP 1084 to KP 1176) are attached for filing with the Panel. Due to the amount of mapping required to complete the response to this ruling, Northern Gateway anticipates filing the remaining maps (which number approximately 120) by October 5, 2012. Such a unit , fully con tro llable from the cab, had to be capable of sanding and ploughing as well as retaining its original fu nctio n as a dump truck. By 1960, Langford was in production of hydraulic systems, underbody ploughs and tailgate sanders. The basic hydraulic system has been improved during the intervening years but it still uses the same components. Improvements in design and function have developed the unde rbody plough and pres ent L. E. Croft demand is for a plough for each new unit. Changes Art Cook have also been made through the years to the tail gat e sander , which now is widel y used in salt delivery. However, the ori ginal design was sound and, the quality and durability of the sanders proven. The or iginal sanders produced in 1960 are still performing from Langford to 100 Mile Hou se. Over 700 sanders have been produced as well as hundreds of underbody ploughs and hydraul ic systems. Langford fabrication sho p has been the chief manufacturing centre over the years. The hydraulic systems, underbody ploughs, and front-plough mou nts for all new units are fabricated and, excep t fo r the tandem truc ks, are ship ped out fo r installation. Each tandem unit has a front-plough mount, an underbody plough , and a hydraulic system tailor made and installed in the fab ricat ion sho p. -

First of all I would like to send prayers to those that have lost a loved one, those that may be dealing with health issues and ask the Lord to bless the entire Nation. It has been a full and busy year even with the pandemic, which is priority for Lake Babine as the safety and wellness of all member is important to us. You will notice the Foundation update that was submitted as a team providing information on the recently signed Foundation Agreement, in addition to the Foundation work LBN has continued to work on other Natural Resource developments. I am happy to report that LBN has finally recruited a Director for Natural Resources and will be introduced at the AGA. There is also a briefing that gives a summary of the mining and exploration development that is happening within the territory. Major resource development projects require approval from BC through an environmental assessment (“EA”) in order to happen. -
