Would you like to schedule a class with 4 or more friends? Contact me for details. Page 2 About Basket Classes... Class times and dates are listed in the schedule. If you are interested in a class other than the days listed, just gather up 4-12 friends & call me to schedule it. If for some reason you can’t make it to class, please let me know as soon as possible so I can fill your spot and also so that I am not waiting on you. I do realize that emergencies happen. This should be a fun, learning experience and for that reason, leave the kids at home. You may be able to weave with your children nearby, but it is unfair to others who can’t. Consider this “mom’s or dad’s night/day out”. No need to bring anything, just yourself. I have scissors, buckets, tools, etc. Dress for a mess! In basket weaving we use water and dyed reed, which sometimes can “bleed”. You will leave with your basket unstained – I do provide a tip sheet on staining techniques. Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Pre-payment ensures your space in class. If you must cancel you will be given your kit. No refunds. Call, text or email to register. Please tell me your name if you text just in case it doesn’t show on my phone. A check can be mailed or for your convenience I accept credit cards thru Paypal at https://www.paypal.me/BonniesBaskets (You do not have to have a Paypal account to use this.) If there is enough interest, I will add more classes and open weaves if my schedule allows. Want to book a private class? Just contact me and we can set that up. A great time for you and your friends! If you have a class of 12 - your class is free! If you have any questions or would like to see the baskets in person, please don’t hesitate to contact me either by phone, text or email. Page 3 October 2019 Questions? Feel free to contact me! Pre-registration is required for Open Weaves/Classes due to space limitations. October In The Shop Sunday, October 6 1pm - 5pm Class - “Visions of Autumn” Tuesday, October 8 1pm - 5pm Open Weave Tuesday, October 15 1pm - 5pm Open Weave The Details - “Visions of Autumn” starts with a woven, filled base. The basket is woven with natural and dyed reed as well as something new - glossy black cane! Several rows of weaving with sea grass also adds texture to this pretty fall basket. The floral embellishment is Japanese Lantern Berries and a metal handle on the back complete the look. Techniques include: filling a base, start/stop weaving, triple twine with an arrow, continuous weave, shaping and overlay placement. Perfect for any weaving level! Cost: $38 Dimensions: 7 1/4” H (not including handle) x 5” W x 7” L Measurements taken at the top of the basket. Pre-registration is required. You can pre-pay for the class or pay the day of the class. If you are a no show/no call you will be required to pre-pay for all classes. If it is an open weave a deposit of $20 will be required. I hate to have to implement this new policy, but there were quite a few no shows/no calls the last time I offered classes. What is an “Open Weave” ? An Open Weave is where you come and pick out a kit to weave. It isn’t a class - just an opportunity to weave! I will be there for guidance if needed. Kits range from $18 and up. Open weaves are for my kits only. Pre-registration is necessary to ensure there is enough room for everyone. Page 4 Want more weaving opportunities?
