Progress Across the Government's Priorities: Update on DEV Initiatives

Portfolio Finance

On 13 February 2019, the Cabinet Economic Development Committee (DEV):

1 noted the progress updates on the government’s key priority areas for which DEV is responsible, as outlined in the Annex to the paper under DEV-19-SUB-0008;

2 noted that DEV Ministers have reported some risk to the delivery of the initiatives listed in paragraph 6 of the paper under DEV-19-SUB-0008;

3 discussed how DEV Ministers can collectively take action to support the progress of the initiatives listed in paragraph 6 so they remain on track to be delivered;

4 noted the advice of the Minister for Economic Development and the Minister for Trade and Export Growth on progress relating to the following two initiatives:

4.1 legislative reform to promote a productive economy;

4.2 growing exports.
