ABSTRACT. Eight species have recently been described in Anacheilium which should be placed in Pros­ thechea based on structure and the current circumscription of the . The World Checklist of lists Anacheitium, Epicladium, Euchite, , , Pollardia, and Pseuden­ cyclia as synonyms of Prosthechea.
