He, therefore, adopted a firm 2011 Bert Sanders policy which assured that all youths would have an opportunity to 2010 Glen McCullough play in games of the various sports controlled by Proctor Center. 2009 Mike McCoy This plan met with much success and certainly with acceptance 2008 Steve Kouri by parents whose children became more interested in sport activ- 2007 Russ Platt ities at Proctor and consequently made good use of their free time. 2006 Garry Trotter 2005 Dr. B. Michael Higgins Neve carried through this policy when he was appointed 2004 Mike Burns Superintendent of the Peoria City Recreation Department which 2003 Dan Shea later became part of the Peoria Park District. In addition, he also 2002 Mike Persich developed a system of recognition for all youths so that each 2001 Dale White young person could feel good about his or her efforts. 2000 Jim Watson 1999 Larry Stranz This kind of interest in all youths regardless of ability came from a 1998 Ray Picl most competitive and outstanding athlete. Neve was a four-sport 1997 Ray White player at Manual High School and a three-sport letter winner at 1996 Carol May Bradley University. He was a member of the 1929 Manual High 1995 Cliff Coddington School State Championship Basketball team. 1994 Bud Ruff 1993 Drs. Indeed, our collection of 1977 Charles Orsborn plaques is, in itself, an area history of sports. 1976 Paul Reatherford 1975 Peter BardezBanian To continue our success, we rely on individuals like you. Your continued input 1974 Dawdy Hawkins is essential. You can nominate a sports team or an outstanding athlete by 1973 Leo Schrall writing a brief account of accomplishments and mailing it to any of the two 1972 Chuck McCord dozen persons on our Board of Directors. 1971 Stretch Miller Keep a few things in mind. No individual has ever been inducted into this Hall 1970 Dick Baxter simply on the basis of a great high school career. Yournominee should have 1969 Lefty Tyler gone on to an impressive college or professional career. Please give this some 1968 Ed Saurs thought. Have we missed an individual or a team? If so, please bring our 1967 Tony Van Dyke oversight to our attention. 1966 Kenny Jones
