TRADEMARK & LOGO USAGE GUIDELINES

• Note® is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. • The name of the device is: Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 (with the ® symbol) • Use of the ® symbol applies to Note, in the graphic treatment and when the word is written in text. When in text, the superscripted ® symbol needs to be used on first reference only. All subsequent references do not need the ® symbol.

• Use of Graphic Treatment: The mobile phone must be referenced as “Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1” in first usage. Subsequently, it can be “Galaxy Note® 10.1” on the same page, without reference to either brand – as long as we have clearly shown it as the Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1, elsewhere in the same ad, and that it has been shown in context of the Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 logo.

• The name “Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1” replaces any model # references • The name “Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1” should be used in conjunction with the Galaxy Note® 10.1 logo as demonstrated in the following pages.

• Always use title case when referencing Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1, avoid using all caps.

• For PR news releases, proper usage will be: First mention: The Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 Any mention thereafter: Galaxy Note 10.1

• When used in creative, the word Samsung does not negate the need for a Samsung wordmark logo to be present on creative, and does not count as a logo placement.

• The following is an incorrect way the trademark can be referenced: “Galaxy Note® 10.1 by Samsung”

• The use of the Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 graphic treatment within a sentence is not permitted. When referencing the product name within a sentence, the product name should appear in regular font as part of the copy.

Correct: The Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 is a sleek and stylish device.

Incorrect: The is a sleek and stylish touch screen phone.

• Do not alter the approved Samsung Galaxy Note® 10.1 logo. The following marks are examples of incorrect logo usage:
