TRADEMARK & LOGO USAGE GUIDELINES

• Galaxy S® is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. • The name of the device is: Samsung Galaxy S® III (with the ® symbol) • Use of the ® symbol applies to Galaxy S, in the graphic treatment and when the word is written in text. When in text, the superscripted ® symbol needs to be used on first reference only. All subsequent references do not need the ® symbol.

• Use of Graphic Treatment: The mobile phone must be referenced as “Samsung Galaxy S® III” in first usage. Subsequently, it can be “Galaxy S® III” on the same page, without reference to either brand – as long as we have clearly shown it as the Samsung Galaxy S® III, elsewhere in the same ad, and that it has been shown in context of the Samsung Galaxy S III logo.

• The name “Samsung Galaxy S® III” replaces any model # references • The name “Samsung Galaxy S® III” should be used in conjunction with the Galaxy S III logo as demonstrated in the following pages.

• The following legal language must be referenced in the legal lines: © 2012 Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC. Samsung and Galaxy S are both registered trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

• Always use title case when referencing Samsung Galaxy S® III, avoid using all caps.

• Examples for illustrative purpose only: Headline: Introducing the Samsung Galaxy S® III Sub-headline: The New Samsung Galaxy S® III Copy (after the headlines above = ok): The new Galaxy S® III is a sleek and stylish phone.

• For PR news releases, proper usage will be: First mention: The Samsung Galaxy S® III Any mention thereafter: Galaxy S® III

• When used in creative, the word Samsung does not negate the need for a Samsung ellipse logo to be present on creative, and does not count as a logo placement.

• The following are incorrect ways the trademark can be referenced: “Galaxy S® III by Samsung” “Galaxy S® by Samsung” “Samsung Galaxy S® 3” “GS® III by Samsung”

• The use of the Samsung Galaxy S® III graphic treatment within a sentence is not permitted. When referencing the product name within a sentence, the product name should appear in regular font as part of the copy.

Correct: The Samsung Galaxy S® III is a sleek and stylish device.

Incorrect: The is a sleek and stylish touch screen phone.
