With all the commemorative holidays & regular holidays people celebrate, it can get quite confusing & frustrating to not have known about it until the day of, or even not at all.
This guide was made to inspire you to use your creativity & capitalize on marketing opportunities for your spa or holistic wellness business. From contests/ giveaways, charity partnerships, local awareness events/ health fairs, ideas for blog posts or article links, fun & wacky questions to ask your audience for more engagement, etc...

The possibilities really are endless. Here are a few examples: Highlight ingredients in a product or body treatment... for example: apricot day - discount apricot products, or offer a “apricots & cream” body wrap or apricot facial. Margarita Day - Offer a lime & salt body scrub, highlight the benefits of lime essential oil, etc. You get the picture!
Superman Day (close to Father’s Day.... Run a social media contest: Tell Us What Makes Your Dad a Superhero for a Chance to Win a Free Spa Treatment!
Lips Appreciation Day... Have an awesome lip enhancing retail product? Offer an enhancing lip treatment as a free add-on to your service. Mardi Gras/ Prom/ Homecomings are always a fun opportunity to promote makeup applications too.
Fair Trade Month - Highlight the fair trade products your facility carries, or host a sales event / open house and talk about the importance of why Fair Trade is important to your business vision.
Respiratory Care Week... Many cities have acupuncturists who offer upping therapy Salt Flotation Centers that you can partner with to raise awareness of holistic treatments for respiratory ailments. Or perhaps partner with the local Lung Cancer charity and donate a portion of your proceeds.
Sun Safety Week: Write a blog post on why sunblock is so important, and explain the difference in the quality of spa brands vs. “over the counter” brands that clog pores. Run a contest “Who Wore Shades Better” with a special hashtag for a fun contest to win a free sunblock or spa treatment, etc.

AboutMy name is Rebecca this Brumfield Bodyworker and I am a licensed massage therapist,seasoned spa goer, skin care addict, and a badass soloprenuer owner of Vida Pura Spa in Baton Rouge, LA.
I have provided over 6,800 hours of hands on therapy time to my spa clients, and earned over 200 CEUs.
I love to enhance others’ lives through volunteer work and community outreach. Empowering other women to find their unique quirks that lead to success in holistic bodywork is my passion.
