What’s On October? Here are some fun events/days happening in October… Oct 2nd World Habitat Day Oct 2nd Children’s Health Day Oct 5th World Teacher Day Oct 9th Columbus Day th Guess what time it is??? It’s almost Halloween and it’s time to start Oct 16 Dictionary Day Oct 21st Sweetest Day thinking about our annual Trunk or Treat! We have this scheduled Oct 22nd Mother in law Day for Friday, October 20th from 7 to 8pm. All of our teachers dress up Oct 31st Halloween and decorate their trunks and pass out candy to anyone that More October happenings… attends. Brandi’s Place provides candy and goodies to all of our 2nd Week – Fire Prevention Week teachers to pass out to the children during this time. However, we Family History Month have had many that have asked or like to help. Halloween Party & Sign Up Sheet Our Halloween party is scheduled for October 31st (on Halloween) at 9am. Children may bring their costumes for this fun event. Please make sure that all items are labeled with your child’s name on them and do not bring any item can be considered a weapon. These will not be allowed in the classrooms. We will have our annual costume parade into all the classrooms, on their way back to their room they will be able to make a special stop at the front desk to fill their bag with some goodies. We will also be playing games, reading stories, doing art projects and so much more during this time. To make it easy on our parents, we will continue to use the Sign Up Genius website for our signup sheets if you chose to donate any items for your child’s classroom. This allows you to sign up for what you would like to donate and it will send you a reminder two days before the event on what you signed up for. Monthly Drawings Don’t forget to sign up for our monthly drawings. Remember that these are “monthly” drawings. We only do one drawing per month. Please make sure that your family is only entering the drawing once per month. If your family is in the bucket more than once, it will be disqualified. A list of giveaways are listed on the table for each month. Remember that our December giveaway is our BIG one for the year. We have given away Amazon Fire Tablets, Big Screen TVs, Soaring Eagle Water Park Passes, family gift bags with gift cards and goodies in them, Samsung Galaxy Tablets as well as several other things for this drawing. This is only for the December drawing. There will be two big drawings in December. One that is open to everyone and one that is for our families that have referred someone at some time during the year. After you receive your referral bonus your name is put into the drawing bucket for December if you referred someone. This is the only way that you can double your chances for the December drawing. Drop Off & Pick Up

When dropping off or picking up your child, please walk in the classroom and make sure that you tell the teacher that you are here. They may not always see you if they are attending to another child.
