Sicario script pdf Continue Both Sicario and Sicario: Day Of The Soldado - stories that follow drug trafficking and people respectively across the U.S.-Mexico border - were written by Taylor Sheridan, and star Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin starring. The first production received outstanding critical praise, and Wolski was set to take on the film for the franchise. The first film was really beautifully made by a film of very talented people, says Wolski, who is no stranger to sequels that with the filming of all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies except the latter, and Stranger: Covenant. With this was an opportunity to do it with another director, with a different look and a different temperament. It was a big challenge. Although it is difficult for Wolski to determine what is said in the first meetings with the new director, he bases many of his ideas on how working relationships begin to build during this time. Details were discussed as they were going to honor the first film, but with some specific changes. Making my own statement was my biggest challenge, says Wolski, who started shooting music videos for artists such as Sting, Paula Abdul and a host of other great acts throughout the 1980s and 90s. Roger (Dickins) is just so specific about photography and very thorough in his work, which is always beautifully decorated. However, we decided to go a little more gritty, a little more realistic. Plot in Chandler, Arizona, FBI agents Keith Meiser and Reggie Wayne lead a raid on the suspected Sonora cartel safe house where they discover dozens of decomposing corpses and booby traps that kill two police officers. After the raid, Kate's boss recommends it to the Department of Justice and The Department of Defense joint task force, led by CIA SAC/SOG Officer Matt Graver and secretive Alejandro Gillick, to apprehend Sonora Cartel Lt. Manuel Diaz. Assuring that the task force will bring the perpetrators of the incident to a safe place before the trial, Kate joins the operation. The group, which includes SFOD-D operators, U.S. deputy marshals and CIA officers, travels to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to extradite Manuel Diaz's brother and henchman Guillermo Diaz. Back in the U.S., the group is in a shootout with cartel fighters on the border, killing militants, endangering nearby civilians, shocking Kate. Alejandro tortures Guillermo on American soil and learns that the cartel is using a tunnel near Nogales, Sonora to smuggle drugs into the U.S. Reggie and Kate begin to doubt the illegal methods of the task force, forcing Matt to reveal that their goal is not to detain Diaz, but to disrupt his drug operation enough for Diaz to be summoned back to Mexico by his boss: the elusive drug lord. The group later searches the bank used by Diaz's money laundering and freezes his accounts. Kate and Reggie want to use their findings from the raid to mount a lawsuit against Diaz, but they are ordered to retreat so as not to jeopardize the operation. However Kate enters the bank despite a warning from Matt not to go inside and questions the manager. Later that evening, Reggie introduces Kate to Ted, a friend and a local policeman. Kate invites Ted to his apartment, only to realize that he works with the cartel. Ted tries to strangle Kate, but Alejandro suddenly appears and conquers him. Alejandro and Matt used Kate as bait, knowing that the cartel would target her after she foolishly allowed herself to be seen on a bank raid. After Alejandro tortures Ted and Matt threatens to put him in jail and harm him Ted reveals the names of other officers also working for Diaz. Soon the team learns that Diaz has now been recalled to Mexico, and prepare for a raid raid Matt also checks that Kate and Reggie's involvement is simply a technical necessity, as working with U.S. law enforcement provides the CIA with a legal advice to work on American soil. Reggie advises Kate that they are leaving, but she insists on joining the raid to learn more about the true nature of the operation. At the Mexican end of the tunnel, Kate sees Alejandro kidnap one of Diaz's drug couriers: a corrupt Mexican policeman named Silvio. Kate tries to arrest Alejandro, but he shoots her in a bulletproof vest to disable her, and then leaves with Silvio. Kate understands that Alejandro is a CIA assassin working with a task force to bring in and eliminate Alarcon, and there has never been any plan to bring Alarcon to justice through legitimately executed methods. Kate then angrily confronts Matt, who finally explains that the operation is part of the ultimate plan to eliminate all cartel competition, which will result in only one cartel that the U.S. will be able to easily control. Alejandro, a former Mexican federal prosecutor who worked for the Medellin cartel, was hired to kill Alarcon as part of that goal. Alejandro's motives are also personal, as Alarcon ordered the brutal murder of his wife and daughter Alejandro. In Mexico, Alejandro forces Silvio to take him to Diaz, kills Silvio, and then forces Diaz to continue moving towards Alarcon. Reaching the Alarcon estate, Alejandro (using remote surveillance of the task force) kills Diaz and the guards of the estates. Alejandro confronts Alarcon and his family at the dinner table; when Alarcon asks Alejandro not to shoot him in front of his two sons, Alejandro kills them both and his wife before shooting Alarcan twice, killing him. The next day, Alejandro shows up at Kate's apartment and forces her at gunpoint to sign a statement confirming that the whole operation was legal. When he leaves, she points her gun at him, but can't bring herself to pull the trigger. Back in Nogales, Silvio's widow watches his son's football match, which is briefly interrupted by the sound of a distant shooting.
