Aparnieks and Seidl highlight SNC’s trip East St. Norbert sent a group of to Hillsdale College in Michigan to compete in the prestigious Gina Relays. The 3 day event was well attended by schools from all over the Country! Several Division I runners were in attendance, making for great competition in all of the events!

Mara Aparnieks put together her best single meet performance as a Green Knight. She ran a time of 12.69 in the 100m dash and finished with a 26.78 in the 200. Senior Tyler Seidl also had a solid showing in the 200m dash, finishing with a colle- giate PR of 23.47!

Benny Swift ran a lifetime best in the 800m run crossing the line in 1:54.34! Swift, who broke the 1:56 barrier for the first time ever a week ago, sits at the top of the Midwest Conference rankings in the 800m run! SNC also had solid showings from Nathan Heppe and Jake Sch- neider, finishing with times of 1:55.62 and 1:57.20 respectively.

Brad Boockmeier and Dan Sisler had strong showings for the St. Norbert multi-eevnt group. Boockmeier placed 4th and Sisler was just a couple of places behind in 6th. Both are now currently ranked in the top 35 in the country! Nathan Heppe and Benny Swift continued to reign supreme for the SNC middle distance crew. Heppe ran a 1:56.62 in the 800 meters while Swift was just behind in 1:57.13.

The SNC women had plenty of solid showings from their elderstateswoman as well as their youth. Erin McShea was the 2nd fastest D3 runner in the 800m run. Her time of 2:16.76 was an outdoor PR for the Lisle, IL native. Liz LeCaptain was just off the school record in the 100m dash finishing with a time of 12.64. She also broke the 27 second barrier for the first time in her collegiate career.

St. Norbert Men’s Team Charlotte Walsh Nazareth Academy / Fr. The SNC Men won their 2nd consecutive Walsh PR’ed through 5,000 meters in the Private College Championship and 5th in 10K event and finished with a time of program history! 38:11.14
