AREA, ROAD, and Trail CLOSURE Public Safety

PROHIBITIONS:

Pursuant to Title 36 CFR 261.50 (a) and (b) the following act is prohibited within the area as described in this order, all within the Mountain Home Ranger District, Boise National Forest and Fairfield Ranger District, Sawtooth National Forest beginning when signed by the Forest Supervisors until October 15 00:01 AM, 2020 or until this order is rescinded.

1. Going into or being upon the area described below. 36 CFR 261.53(e) 2. Being on the Roads described below. 36 CFR 261.54(e). 3. Being on the Trails described below. 36 CFR 261.55(a).

EXEMPTIONS:

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e) the following persons are exempt from this order:

1. Persons with a special use authorization or other Forest Service authorization specifically exempting them from the effect of this Order. 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or fire fighting force in the performance of an official duty. 3. Federal or State administrative personnel in the performance of an official duty.

AREA DESCRIBED:

All National Forest Service Lands, Roads, and Trails, within the area described as: Beginning at the intersection of Forest Service Road (FSR) 227 and Forest Service Trail (FST) 052, located in Township 3 North, Range 12 East, Section 17; then south along FST 052 and including FST 052; to the intersection with FST 050, including FST, located in Township 3 North, Range 12 East Sec 31; then continuing south on FST 050 to the intersection with FST 055 at Township 2 North, Range 12 East Section 8; then continuing southeast along FST 055, including FST 055 to the intersection with FST 056 in Township 2 North, Range 12 East, Section 9; then continuing southeast along FST 056, including FST 056, to the intersection with FST 057 in Township 1 North, 12 East Section 6; then continuing west along Forest Service Trail 057, including FS trail 057, to the intersection with FST 042 located in Township 1 North, Range 11 East, Section 3; then continuing southwest along FST 042, including FST 042, to FST 814 located in Township 1 North, Range 11 East Section 10; then continuing south along FST 814, include FS trail 814, to the intersection with FSR 055 located in Township 1 North, Range 11 East Section 15; then continuing south along FSR 055, including FSR 055, to the intersection with FSR 181 located in Township 1 North, Range 11 East Section 22; then continuing south along FSR 181, including FSR 181, to the National Forest boundary located in Township 1 North, Range 11 East, Section 27,28; continuing west and then north and then west along the National Forest boundary to the intersection with Highway 61 located in Township 2 North, Range 10 East, Section5; then continuing along Highway 61 to the intersection with FSR 227; then easterly along highway 227 to the point of beginning, not including FSR 227.

The described Area, Roads and Trails are shown on the Map attached hereto as Exhibit A, and are within the Mountain Home and Fairfield Ranger Districts, Boise and Sawtooth National Forests, Elmore and Camas County, , Boise Meridian.

PURPOSE:

Public Safety during active fire suppression operations.

IMPLEMENTATION:

1. This Order will be in effect when signed and shall remain in effect until October 15 00:01 AM or until rescinded, whichever occurs first. 2. A map identifying the closure area is attached and made part of this Order. 3. Violation of the above prohibition(s) is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000.00 for an individual, or $10,000.00 for an organization, and/or imprisonment for not more than six (6) months. [Title 16 USC 551, Title 18 USC 3571(b)(6), Title 18 USC 3581 (b)(7)]. 4. This Order supersedes any previous Order(s) prohibiting the same, or similar acts prohibited by this Order in the areas (and/or roads, trails) covered by this Order.
