To Club Presidents, Club Coaches Cc Peter McGiffin; Brett Jones; QC Talent Development; Max Walters; Stephen Gray; Steve Farrell; Andrew Keyte From Jude Coleman, Andy Richards Subject Under 18 Female Rookie Challenge – 24-25 Sept 2018 The Queensland Girls Selection Panel is pleased to announce the below teams for the upcoming challenge. It is important to note that the challenge numbers have been reduced this season from 48 to 24 as a once off to allow us to align the under 17 challenge with the boys in April 2019. In addition, the amount of quality players available to us in the age group this season is larger than previous seasons, and the process has been a thorough and challenging one.

We congratulate the players along with the clubs and associations who have supported their development and we know will continue to do so into the future.

This will not be a live-in camp with players providing their own arrangements for accommodation and transport to the games.

Following the challenge, we will monitor the performance of all eligible players in club cricket over the ensuing weeks and look to name the under 18 squad towards the end of October. Squad training will commence shortly thereafter up until the team heads to National Championships. Please note we will be providing an additional six (6) players for a combined NT/QLD team to national championships this season.
