Diskomat formed during 35 years a department within Lorentzen & Wettre (formed in 1916) and became an independent subsidiary in 1990. In May 1997 the company was acquired by Gösta Torssell, who continues to operate the company in its earlier form and with the same staff, whom over the years have accumulated a unique know how of dishwashing systems. To retain and develop this know how new staff has been added to form a basis for growth. Since Wexiödisk was formed 30 years ago, Wexiödisk and Diskomat have co-operated very closely to integrate Wexiödisk-dishwashers in these systems. Diskomat/Nordien System has completed over 2.500 projects • 360 Hospitals • 25 Central kitchens • 350 Schools • 600 Staff restaurants • 100 Military staff canteens • 65 Flight caterers • 1000 Hotels/Restaurants Current development • 1998 – Acquisition of Tray setting from Protema • 1999 – Exclusive agreement for dishwashers with Wexiödisk for flight catering • 1999 – Exclusive agreement for foam cleaning equipment with Lagafors • 2000 – Agreement for waste handling equipment with Envac Scandinavia • 1999 – 2002 SCE Seminars at IFCA • 2003 – Exclusive agreement for food distribution equipment with Electro Calorique in France • 2004 – Moved to new office and workshop • 2004 – Exclusive distributor of Nordien System in Sweden and some Export markets • 2006 – Entering the Food processing industry • 2011 – Marketing the EWA (Echo Waste Away) system for waste handling Diskomat AB Phone: +46 (0)8 794 06 40 www.diskomat.com E-mail: [email protected] Fax: +46 (0)8 794 06 50 advanced dishwashing Employees Our Marketing engineers as well as our Project engineers are all trained engineers and very knowledgeable in Dishwashing, Waste handling and Cleaning systems. Our Service- and assembly engineers have long experience of their work. The company consists of • Managing Director • 4 Senior Marketing/Sales engineers • 3 Project leaders / Design engineers • 4 Service and Assembly Engineers • 2 Administrators Technical resources • Auto CAD 2010 and Inventor (3D)-system in a network with e-mail link. • Stainless steel components are manufactured, to our design, by sub-suppliers. • Diskomat has its own workshop where all systems are assembled and tested before they are shipped to the end user. • Our own assembly engineers install our systems and commission them on site including training of local service staff and operators. Diskomat as a company is focusing on four business areas when making dishwashing systems. - In Flight Catering - Staff Canteens/Food Courts/Schools - Hospitals - Hotels/Restaurants Each operation has its special needs a Flight Catering Unit is mostly used more or less 24 hours a day all year round compared to a school or staff canteen that is mostly used just once a day 5 days a week. Diskomat has during the 50 years in the industry developed both methods and products for each of the above mentioned areas. From fairly “simple” dishwashing areas were equipment such as stainless steel tabling is used to automated dishwashing areas where for instance conveyors, loaders , robots and other types of automated equipment is used. All dishwashing areas from Diskomat have the following in common: - Hygiene, the design and construction should make it possible for maintaining a high hygiene standard. - Ergonomics, with ergonomic equipment the staff avoids injuries and can work more productive. - Energy savings, this includes chemical, electricity (gas, steam) Sand water. - Product Life Cycle Cost, with the high quality and the optimised use of the equipment the total cost for a Diskomat dishwashing area is taken down to low levels. - Low Staff Cost, the dishwashing areas are planned to use a minimum of staff. This reduces the cost for staff to a minimum. Since each Dishwashing area is unique these are no “standard” in anyway. As mentioned above we plan/design according to needs and requirements from the operator. • Business Cycle Signals Results of the SNB Company Talks
Business cycle signals Results of the SNB company talks Fourth quarter of 2020 Report submitted to the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank for its quarterly assessment. The appraisals presented here are based on discussions between the SNB’s delegates for regional economic relations and company managers throughout Switzerland. In its evaluation, the SNB aggregates and interprets the information received. A total of 242 company talks were conducted between 13 October and 30 November. In light of the coronavirus crisis, the delegates addressed several additional issues, and asked specific questions on the liquidity situation and lending conditions (for more details, cf. page 32). Regions Delegates Central Switzerland Gregor Bäurle Eastern Switzerland Urs Schönholzer Fribourg/Vaud/Valais Aline Chabloz Geneva/Jura/Neuchâtel Jean-Marc Falter Italian-speaking Switzerland Fabio Bossi Mittelland Roland Scheurer Northwestern Switzerland Daniel Hanimann Zurich Fabian Schnell 28 Quarterly Bulletin 4 / 2020 December Key points • After the strong but only partial economic recovery in the summer, the fourth quarter has been marked by a renewed flare-up of the pandemic, with a corresponding loss of turnover in many industries. • Real turnover, particularly in the services sector, is lower quarter-on-quarter; in manufacturing it is stable. Turnover in both these sectors is substantially lower year-on-year. The differences between industries, but also between companies, are bigger than usual. • Production capacity and infrastructures are substantially underutilised, except in the construction sector. There has been a renewed increase in difficulties in the delivery of goods and services. • Profit margins have again come under more pressure. Companies’ liquidity situation is somewhat tighter than in the previous quarter.

  • The Peace Conference of Lausanne (1922-1923)
Bern 1923 - 2008 With the kind support of: Mrs Ionna Ertegiin Mrs Selma Goksel Tiirkiye I~ Bankasi Anadolu Ajans1 Thanks to: Onur Ozc;:eri (Research, text and layout) Agathon Aerni (research) Tuluy Tanc;: (editing) © Embassy of Turkey, Bern 85 years of representation of the Republic of Turkey in Switzerland (1923-2008) The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Bern ~u6tic offJ'urk,ey rrfie (Jlresufent It is no coincidence that the Republic of Turkey purchased its first Embassy premises abroad, in Switzerland's capital, Bern, to establish the seat of its diplomatic representation. The negotiation of a peace treaty and its successful outcome took the shape of the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923. The Treaty of Lausanne left an indelible mark in our memory. The aspiration of the Turkish nation to live as a free and independent people is thus anchored in Switzerland, a land that earned the reputation for fairness, equity and justice. The subsequent adoption in 1926 of a Civil Code based on the Swiss example, the Montreux Convention negotiated in 1936 in Switzerland giving full sovereignty on the Turkish Straits and other events have solidified this perception. I am therefore particularly pleased that the roots of the friendship bonds between Turkey and Switzerland and the main events associating Switzerland to Turkey have been compiled in a book. The book also illustrates the reciprocal attention and like minded approaches of both Turkey and Switzerland to further promote bilateral relations between two democracies and to facilitate the realization of aspirations of peace. I would like to express my thanks to the President of the Swiss Confederation, His Excellency Pascal Couchepin and to all who have contributed to the realization of this book.
