I stopped walking, letting the sounds of crunching leaves fade. “If you don’t want to be here, you can leave whenever you want to.” I replied. Simon had always dragged me out of trouble, or stuck by me no matter what crazy idea I had, but I wondered - not for the first time - if there was a limit to how many times he would try to talk some sense into me while sticking by my side before he gave up trying altogether.
