La Selección Nacional De México Enfrentará a Trinidad & Tobago Publicado en el 02/07/2015 La Selección Nacional de México enfrentará a Trinidad & Tobago La Selección Nacional de México, Soccer United Marketing (SUM), y Real Salt Lake anunciaron hoy que México se enfrentará a Trinidad & Tobago el viernes 4 de septiembre de 2015 a las 21:00 hrs. del centro de México, (10:00 p.m. ET) en el Rio Tinto Stadium en Sandy, Utah, como parte de la Gira Anual de la Selección Nacional de México por Estados Unidos. Este será el primer partido que El Tricolor juegue en Utah. Para los aficionados interesados en una preventa exclusiva para la Selección Nacional de México, por favor contacte a Real Salt Lake al 801-727-2700. Los boletos para el partido saldrán a la venta para el público en general el lunes 20 de julio a las 10 a.m. hora local vía www.RioTintoStadium.com Rio Tinto Stadium, sede de Real Salt Lake de Major League Soccer, es un escenario de clase mundial diseñado específicamente para la práctica de fútbol. Prestigiosos eventos internacionales y regionales se han llevado a cabo en el estadio desde su inauguración en el 2008. El escenario en Sandy ha sido sede de los Playoffs de la Copa MLS, la Copa Abierta de los Estados Unidos Lamar Hunt, la Liga de Campeones de la CONCACAF y partidos de eliminatorias de la Selección Nacional de Estados Unidos para los Mundiales del 2010 y 2014, además del Partido de las Estrellas de la MLS en el 2009 y la fase de grupos de la Copa Oro de la CONCACAF 2013. El partido está programado para una fecha FIFA y se espera que ambas escuadras cuenten con sus jugadores estelares, entre los que se encuentran Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández, Andrés Guardado, Carlos Vela y Giovani Dos Santos. Por su parte, Trinidad & Tobago cuenta con talentos como Joevin Jones de Chicago Fire, Kevan George del Columbus Crew SC y Kenwyne Jones del Cardiff City. Los duelos de septiembre serán parte de la preparación de ambas Selecciones para las Eliminatorias al Mundial de Rusia 2018, que inician este otoño. México y Trinidad & Tobago se enfrentaron por última vez el 20 de julio del 2013 durante los cuartos de final de la Copa Oro de la CONCACAF cuando El Tricolor se llevó la victoria 1-0. Ambos equipos también se enfrentarán en la Copa Oro este verano en Charlotte, NC, el 15 de julio en un duelo de la fase de grupos. El partido en el Rio Tinto Stadium será el encuentro número 19 entre las dos naciones. Por el momento, México lidera la serie con 12 victorias, tres empates y únicamente tres derrotas.
