The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs facilitates and assists States/Union Territories(UTs), including Maharashtra, in this endeavour through its Missions- Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban(SBM-U), Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation(AMRUT), Smart Cities Mission(SCM), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yogana(Urban)(PMAY-U) and through Urban Transport Projects to improve the quality of life in cities and towns covered under these Missions.
