Professional experience Since 1995 he has been an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Panteion University of Athens. 1984-1986 he was a Special Postgraduate Scholar of the same University 1987 he became Lecturer 1992 Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law, also in the same University. He is a Supreme Court attorney at law specialised in Public Law and a member of the Bar Association of Athens. Since 1989 he has been contributing articles to the newspaper “TA NEA”. He was elected 3rd PA.SO.K. member of Parliament of the Second Constituency of Athens. Jan. 2002 - March 2004 He served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for International Economic Relations and Development Assistance. At the parliamentary elections of 2004 he was elected 2nd PA.SO.K. member of Parliament of the Second Constituency of Athens and at the elections of 2007 he was elected 1st of the same Electoral District. 3 Member of the Standing Committee on Defence and Foreign Affairs Member of the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs Member of the Science and Technologies Committee of the NATO Parliamentary assembly.
