ABOUT US
Department of Computer Engineering was established in the year 1997, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer
Engineering. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in computer science and IT industry in India
and abroad.
The department started two years M. Tech. in Computer Engineering programme in the year 2010, with the objective of providing opportunities to the graduate students to pursue research career in the domain of Computer Engineering.

Effective Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning process has been made more advanced and objective oriented. Highly learned and experienced teaching staff. Regular class and laboratory sessions. Industry oriented syllabus. Learning Management System (LMS) is in use to have 24x7 access of e-Materials. There is a tight online communication mechanism of attendance monitoring through LMS. Continuous evaluation like conducting quiz, seminar, online test, tutorials and projects. Highly equipped laboratories (Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Android, iOS, and all core courses.

Developed and managing the Institute web site. Implementation and coordination of LMS for academic purpose. Internet Service distribution and maintenance at campus level. IT infrastructure setup in coordination with vendors and service provider. Software installation and other day to day IT issues at Institute level. Involved in Android Application Development.
Laboratory Infrastructure The department has latest configured hardware and devices. There are 350 computer systems connected in LAN. All devices are equipped with 1GBPS internet speed. The laboratories are well equipped in the specialized areas.
The laboratories are enriched with all state of art equipment and License software to fulfill the needs of UG & PG students as well as R&D and consultancy works. Wi-Fi facility is available in department.

Achievements
Our team UVPCE01, has secured 2nd runners up prize at the Smart India Hackathon 2018 (World’s largest Hackathon) at GirijanandaChaudhry Institute (Guwahati) on 30th- 31st March 2018. They have been rewarded a cash prize of Rs.50000 and Medals in this 36hours coding and app development competition. They will get a chance to deploy their android application in a real-time environment. The team comprised of 6 members from B.TechSem-VI (CE) namely, Patel Adeetya, IshaVankineni, Heli Patel, Vrinda Bhatt, Harsh Patel and Umang Desai; worked under the mentorship of Prof. PrashantModi (IT dept.).
Our Team SixBitB consisting of Nisha Singh Tomar, HomiVarma, Ritik Sharma, Rahul Bhenjalia, KirandeepKaur and Akshar Tank were one of the 1296 teams selected out of 12047 teams throughout the country for the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon 2018 at Kanpur. DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING
ParthMakadiya student of batch 2014 is currently doing his industry training in HexadGmBHcompany,Germany. Jugal Bhatt student of batch 2014 is Microsoft Student Partner since November 2015. He got the opportunity to attend annual summit at BITS Pilani organized by Microsoft. Our student Abhishek Chotia(6thSem-IT) got the opportunity to attend World’s first DSC Summit in Goa from 23/2/2018 to 25/02/2018. 3. Convergence Convergence is one of the flagship annual events at Ganpat University. It is a National Level Technical Festival for engineering students for Two days, being organized by Faculty of Engineering & Technology since 2002. 1st Rank 30% of tuition fees
2nd Rank 20% of tuition fees
3rd Rank 10% of tuition fees
1. Scholarships are awarded to top three rankers of Under Graduate (UG) & Post Graduate (PG) courses.
2. 25% scholarship on tuition fee of higher study to the Alumni student of Ganpat University.
3. Students are also entitled to receive scholarship of MYSY Scheme.
4. Scholarship shall be awarded to SC/ ST students.
5. M.Tech Students having valid GATE score are supported with scholarship.
6. Scholarship for SEBC/NT-DNT/EBC/Minority Students.
