Executive Summary Section I Nirai Nangaiyar – Our Mission The mission of Sri Sarada College for Women is to mould young girls into perfect women with purity of heart and strength of mind. In fact, this is the vision of our Revered Founder Srimath Swami Chidbhavananda and his great desire was that the girls who enter the portals of this Temple of Learning should leave it as “Nirai Nangaiyar” – ‘the perfect women’. Thus, Sri Sarada College, Tirunelveli has been established in the year 1986 to fulfill two specific needs or rather a two-fold need to the people of Tirunelveli and the nearby villages where from we get many first generation college goers, the daughters of peasants and weavers – no doubt the oppressed and downtrodden.

  • Sri Ramakrishna Math Mylapore, Chennai - 600 004, INDIA
Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission P.O. Belur Math, Dist. Howrah, West Bengal 711 202, INDIA. MESSAGE My dear Jivanananda, I received your letter of 3rd December and am very happy to learn that the Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home, Batticaloa, Sri Lanka is completing seventy five years of service and that you are bringing out a Souvenir to commemorate the occasion. The Home has rendered singular service to poor and orphaned children, helping hundreds of them to stand on their own feet. In so doing, it has fulfilled Swami Vivekananda’s exhortation to serve the most deprived sections of our society in the spirit of worship. I myself have visited the Ashrama more than once. Its work is very much appreciated even by the Sri Lankan Government. On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee I convey to all those associated with the Ashrama my love and blessings so that they may continue to serve the people of Sri Lanka. Affectionately Yours Swami Ranganathananda President, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission kl;lf;fsg;G uhkfpU\\\;z;z;z kpkpkp\\\d; khzthpy;y gts tpoh kyh; 1 Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission P.O.
