That’s an estimated 1.1 million Tennesseans, Piercey said. When asked about the estimated population of phase 1c in Shelby County, the Health Department offered this response. “There is no way to estimate how many people have those conditions because they are not notifiable diseases, meaning they are not conditions that practitioners are required to report to the Health Department,” Carr said.
