But if it's worse than I think it must be BAAAAAD! The WC play-o!s are coming up so she needs to turn it around somehow. And as I can see Batinic is following her footsteps and that's very disturbing. I'd like to know what's going on with them. They need to pull themselves together ASAP.

We are at the beginning of a new and exciting project this season following the merging of the Women’s EHF Cup and the Women’s Cup Winners’ Cup. This new format has been developed in order to create a high-quality platform for those clubs wanting to play top-class international handball and perhaps also striving to play in the European handball’s top flight – the Women’s EHF Champions League – in the future. This may be a new development for women’s handball but it has been inspired by the success of the changes made to the Men’s EHF Cup from the start of the 2012/13 season.

Then timeout for SK Aarhus who then went up with 11-10 and continued to 19-12 (haltime). In the 2nd half Randers came back to 25-22, but with 5 minutes remaining SK Aarhus secured a deserved victory. SK Aarhus made the better of a weak Randers attack. Lot's of fast breaks for Touray and Brøgger. Great passes from Karin Mortensen who must be high on the assists-ranking. In the attack Trine Troelsen was the best on left back. Although Dalby scored 5 goals... it was probably the worst match I have ever seen her play. However the Randers attack didn't work all together so she was pushed to shots in many terrible situations.

With the qualification tournaments for this season’s group matches just around the corner, let’s take a look back at last season’s final. In a thrilling final Győri Audi ETO KC beat Larvik HK over two hotly contested matches. These encounters once more highlighted the terrific level women’s handball has reached. In recent years the Women’s EHF Champions League has made significant steps forward. In 2012 the European Handball Federation established the Women’s Handball Board and employed former top class player Alenka Cuderman as the women’s handball coordinator. New projects have already been launched and the EHF will not stop working on the continuous further development of women’s handball. In the qualification 16 teams are now vying for a spot in the EHF Champions League and with household names such as HC Leipzig, FTC Rail Cargo Hungária and Viborg HK among them, I am confident that the competition will be off to a great start and an even greater finish can be expected when the final is played in May 2014.
