Evans Honord Evans was arrested and charged with homicide/negligent manslaughter. He is being held on $25,000 bond. Schadrac was pronounced dead in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Family members and friends described Shadrac as a great person who was a mentor and role model. He was the type that stayed away from trouble and had a passion for art as he was always drawing. He was said to have hopes of be- coming a graphic designer. A cousin of Schadrac said he saw him as an older brother that he didn’t have. The boys’ mother is hurt by the loss of her son, but doesn’t believe that Evans should have been arrested as the shooting was all an accident.
