After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing 6th through last, 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth and 3% to fifth. KTDF funds correspondingly divided providing a KTDF eligible horse finishes in an award position. Weight: 124 lbs. Non-winners of a Sweepstakes at a mile or over on the turf allowed, 2 lbs.; A Sweepstakes on the turf, 4 lbs.; two races other than maiden or claiming at a mile or over on the turf, 6 lbs. Starters and riders must be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to twelve starters with four also-eligibles. At the discretion of the Racing Secretary, the also-eligibles may remain on the program and be scratched up to fifteen minutes prior to pari-mutuel windows opening. Preference to start will be given in the following order: The Kentucky Downs Preview Dueling Grounds Oaks winner at Ellis ParkGraded/Group Stakes winners (in order I-II-III). Stakes winners, then highest career turf earnings. The winner of The Kentucky Downs Preview Dueling Grounds Oaks winner at Ellis Park will be entitled to a free nomination, waived entry and staring fees and shall be considered a "preferred" entry for this running.
