Worked on two unique Flash AS3 projects. Part of my responsibilities was to examine the existing frameworks and code architectures used on the projects. The agency had taken over the client’s existing code for revisions and new features. I learned a lot during my short-term assignment with NuEnergen about the latest Flex 4 framework, Fxg graphics and skinning. JUICE Pharma Worldwide (Contract W2)– New York, NY Aug 08, 2010 – Oct 29, 2010 Senior Flash and Interactive UI Developer Developed interactive pharmaceutical sales performance presentation with Adobe Flash CS4/CS5 using object oriented Actionscript3. Similar to the Ogilvy and Cline, Davis & Mann projects I worked on interactive Flash presentations that were imported into the Exploria platform and used by the sales force. In addition, I was the technical lead assisting two other Flash developers with their first effort with the Exploria platform. I provided insights with regard to skinning ESP components, how to link to other Flash slides and pages using calls to the external interface as well as programming checkbox surveys for tracking in Exploria. The interactive Flash presentations were imported into the Exploria platform used by the clients’ sales force. Developed, enhanced and maintained the Flash Exploria presentations for major pharmaceuticals companies including Pfizer and J&J brands included: Tygacil and Levaquin. The project was a success and rolled out the last week of 1 July after legal/regulatory, validation and QA reviews. As part of a team of about 12 Flash developers we developed presentations for major pharmaceuticals companies including Pfizer and such brands that included: Caduet, Lipitor, Prestiq, Celebrex, Premarin and Rebif.

MTV Networks – New York, NY April 2007 - May 29, 2009 Senior UI Web Developer Subtitle Project: Responsible for direct communications with the major stakeholders that included the Vice President at MTV Networks responsible for their Media Tech Strategy and the MTV International group to show them prototypes from development thru staging phases of the project seeking feedback and insights using an agile development approach. I was responsible and managed all stages of the Subtitle life cycle from analysis, design, development, testing, staging and production. . Responsible as technical lead on a subtitle closed captioning Flex 3 / Flash CS3 / ActionScript 3 project. . Worked with a Flash developer in Germany who developed the Flash subtitle editor, my role was to define the API that allows Flex to communicate with the Flash subtitle component. . Responsible for specifying the requirements for the back-end processes, for example, reading and writing XML that contains the subtitle content that Flex will read from the Flash component. . The system is completely driven by XML for Local Language support, for example, the menus, labels and pull-down menus can be in one of approximately 16 different languages including Chinese. . Developed the subtitle Flex portion of the system using the MVC cairngorm framework. Flex Components: Use Adobe Flex Builder 3, ActionScript 3 along side Flash CS3, Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3, for design elements to build Flex components that fit into a cairngorm framework. Colgate-Palmolive Company – New York, NY IT Manager - Global Information Technology May 1988 - Oct 2006 . Designed and developed a global sales site template that was rolled out in Brazil, Canada, Italy, and the United Kingdom as well as a North American marketing site building upon this successful approach. This web application (template) contained a home page and seven subsites that included sales news, products, events, team and human resource content. A Flash/XML component was developed for the site to solve a double-posting issue and save time for the sales team. The Flash component was written to read XML data from seven different Lotus Notes Databases, to aggregated data and to sort by date and display the latest sales information with links to documents for the sales force. Local language was also supported in the design of this web site. . Consulted, supported, and trained various functional areas in developing custom web-based applications and Intranet websites including: Global Innovation, Finance, Security, Marketing, Sales, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and Travel. . Recipient of eight Chairman’s “You Can Make a Difference” awards for excellence and innovation in web application development and team instruction and support.
