Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In St. Mark 12:24, Jesus asks, “Is not this the reason you are wrong, that you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God?” . The basic reason for our failures and sufferings is that we do not experience the wisdom, power and salvation which the word of God offers. Between Martha and Mary, Mary chose to sit at the Lord’s feet to listen to Him (Lk 10:39). Jesus testifies her choice and say, “Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her”. (Lk. 10:42). Remember, the choice is ours. May this lectionary enable us to be at the feet of the Lord meditating His Words and thus seeking His guidance and blessings. Let the Word of God be the lamp to our feet and light to our path and may it encourage us to be with the Lord in every walks of our life.
