BISHOP: Will the room please come to order? MR. TSAO: Good morning and welcome. The Office of the United States Trade Representative, in conjunction with the Interagency Section 301 Committee, is holding this public hearing in connection with the enforcement of U.S. WTO rights arising from the dispute brought by the United States against the European Union and certain EU member states addressed to the EU subsidies on large civil aircraft. Detailed information about this investigation is set out in our notice of April 12, 2019, which is published at 84 Federal Register 15028. A number of public comments in response to the April 12 notice requested that the Trade Representative consider additional products that were not included in the April 12 list for possible inclusion on a final list of products to be subject to the additional duties. (202) 234-4433 WASHINGTON, D.C. 20005-3701 www.nealrgross.com 6 In response to these comments, and upon further analysis, the Trade Representative published a notice on July 5, 2019 that included a second list of products being considered for inclusion on a possible final list of products that may be subject to the proposed tariff action. The July 5 notice is published at 84 FR 32248. The purpose of today's hearing is to receive public testimony regarding products included in the July 5 list. The Section 301 Committee will carefully consider the testimony provided at this public hearing, and the written comments, including post-hearing rebuttal comments, and will then make a recommendation to the Trade Representative. As explained in our notice of April 12 and July 5, the selection of a final list of products will take into account the upcoming report of the WTO arbiter -- arbitrator on the appropriate level of countermeasures. The hearing is scheduled for one day and will conclude this evening. We have six panels of witnesses with 31 individuals scheduled to testify today. The provisional schedule has been posted on the USTR website. We'll have a five-minute break between the panels and a 55-minute break for lunch. Each organization appearing at the hearing is limited to five minutes of oral testimony. After the testimony from each panel of witnesses, the Section 301 Committee will have an opportunity to ask questions. Committee representatives will generally direct their questions to one or more specific witnesses. Post-hearing comments, including any written responses to questions from the Section 301 Committee, are due by Monday, August 12, 2019.     MAKERS & MONGERS Exploring Social Networks in the Regional Supply Chain for Vermont Artisan Cheese Prepared for: The Vermont Cheese Council By: Rachel A. DiStefano, M.S., Food Systems, University of Vermont Dr. Amy B. Trubek, University of Vermont June, 2014 I. Executive Summary Three major themes emerged from the social network analysis of supply networks for Vermont artisan cheese: types of relationships, varieties of retail operation, and importance of distributors. The results indicate that the regional supply chain is a multiplex system stemming from a complex balance between a cheesemaker’s goals and the needs of various retailers. Relationships: The relationships between cheesemakers and retailers ranged from highly social and personal to distanced and business minded. The social network is clustered around several well-connected cheesemakers and retailers. The scale of production and number of years in business influences a cheesemaker’s centrality in the social network. Retail: The majority of Vermont cheesemakers sell to retailers both inside and outside of Vermont. Vermont cheesemakers rely on a diverse variety of retail venues – from ultra-local general stores to large national supermarket chains – across the region. Food cooperatives, primarily in Vermont, emerged as highly central in the social network. The consistent champions of Vermont cheese outside of Vermont appear to be small specialty retailers – either dedicated cheese shops or gourmet food stores. Distributors: Distributors play crucial roles as intermediaries between cheesemakers and retailers. When distributors become involved in selling Vermont artisan cheese, cheesemaker-retailer relationships often resemble a sales network rather than a social network. Page 2 II. Previous research with consumers has demonstrated that social information related to where and how Vermont artisan cheese is made is important—not just for preference but for physiological sensory experience.

These ratings are based on compliance with the requirements of the USPHS/FDA Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance and Grade A Condensed and Dry Milk Products and Condensed and Dry Whey and were made in accordance with the procedures set forth in Methods of Making Sanitation Rating of Milk Supplies. *Proposal 301 that was passed at 2001 NCIMS conference held May 5-10, 2001, in Wichita, Kansas and concurred with by FDA states: "Transfer Stations, Receiving Stations and Dairy Plants must achieve a sanitation compliance rating of 90 or better in order to be eligible for a listing in the IMS List. Sanitation compliance rating scores for Transfer and Receiving Stations and Dairy Plants will not be printed in the IMS List". Therefore, the publication of a sanitation compliance rating score for Transfer and Receiving Stations and Dairy Plants will not be printed in this edition of the IMS List. THIS LIST SUPERSEDES ALL LISTS WHICH HAVE BEEN ISSUED HERETOFORE ALL PRECEDING LISTS AND SUPPLEMENTS THERETO ARE VOID. The rules for inclusion in the list were formulated by the official representatives of those State milk sanitation agencies who have participated in the meetings of the National Conference of Interstate Milk Shipments.

Aurubis – these seven letters now stand for one of the leading players in the global copper industry. The 6,300 employees of the Group are proud of the development of the small gold and silver separating plant, founded in 1770 in Hamburg-Altona, into the leading integrated copper group and the world’s largest copper recycler. Already in 1913, the company had grown so much that it moved from the narrow Elbstrasse to the current plant premises on the island of Peute – which is still the Group’s largest plant as well as its headquarters. After two World Wars and internal growth, NA went public in 1998. It acquired its first production site outside of Hamburg, Hüttenwerke Kayser in Lünen, in 1999. This was followed by further acquisitions and international development: Prymetall and its 50 % holding in Schwermetall (both located in Stolberg) in 2002, the Belgian company Cumerio with several sites in Europe in 2008 and the Luvata Rolled Products Division in 2011. Since then, Aurubis has produced outside of Europe with its site in the US. In 2008, Salzgitter AG came on board as a stabilizing major shareholder of Aurubis. In February 2009, the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting passed a resolution to rename NA, adopting the new name Aurubis – a combina- tion of the Latin words “aurum”, gold, and “rubrum”, red – the “red gold”.
