June 2018 Newsletter No 192 Cotignac Lunch with Talk This was the fourth year we have held an event at Notre Dame de Grâces with Patrick Verlinden giving a short talk, this time on British sports personalities competing and/or living in the Var. He chose four categories: car rallies and racing, football, tennis and cycling. The numbers were much lower than previously, probably because of the topic but we benefited from having a number of people who had been invited by our hosts. It was good to have a mix of English and French, something of a new initiative that would be good to achieve again. There were many compliments on the 4 course meal and the wine. The weather was sunny and the ample apéro was served in the grounds. Specialist pension solutions for UK expatriates in France.
