Two of the existing dormitories with approximately 500 beds are no longer fit for use as student living facilities, resulting in a shortage of on-campus housing at UW. Each member of the Task Force agreed that the current student housing stock has become outdated and inadequate to meet the needs of today’s dynamic University.
