Cast Bios Jessica Szohr ‘LUCKY IN LOVE’ CAST BIOS JESSICA SZOHR (Mira) - Jessica Szohr is one of Hollywood’s most sought after and engaging young talents. Since beginning her career in acting, she has already fostered an impressive body of work that includes both film and television. Next, Szohr will be seen starring in “Brightest Star.” The film will open in theaters and on VOD nationwide in late January 2014 following its recent world premiere at the Austin Film Festival. The film stars Chris Lowell, Clark Gregg and Allison Janney. She will also be seen starring in “Two Night Stand” opposite Analeigh Tipton, Miles Teller, Leven Rambin and Kid Cudi. The film centers around two strangers who had a one night stand and wake up to find themselves snowed in after sleeping through a blizzard that put all of Manhattan on ice. Now trapped together in a tiny apartment, they are forced to get to know each other way more than any one night stand should. Szohr’s other film credits include “The Internship,” “Tower Heist,” “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” “Love, Wedding, Marriage” and “Piranha 3-D.” She was nominated for a 2011 MTV Movie Award for ”Best Scared-As-Shit Performance’’ for her role in the Weinstein Company’s “Piranha 3-D,” and she also received the 2010 “Breakthrough Actress in Film Award” at the 8th Annual Breakthrough Awards for her body of work. Szohr is most known for her starring role as Vanessa Abrams in the CW Network’s hit TV Show and cultural phenomenon “Gossip Girl.” Her other television credits include: “Joan of Arcadia,” “That’s So Raven,” “CSI: Miami,” and “What About Brian.” She also starred in Chris Daughtry’s “Over You” music video and Matt White’s “Best Days.” ### DEIDRE HALL (Erin) - Deidre Hall has emerged as America’s most beloved heroine and delighted her fans when created the role of ‘Dr. Marlena Evans’ on “Days of Our Lives,” a character whose popularity has created a furor and a fan following seldom seen in television. The favorable regard in which Hall is held has spanned all demographics and regions. Most recently, Hall was selected to receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014. “I am breathless at receiving this honor,” she stated upon hearing the news. In 1986, Hall became the first performer ever to star in both daytime and primetime series when she was cast as ‘Jesse Witherspoon’ in NBC’s family drama, “Our House.” In 1991, Hall starred along with Richard Crenna and Rachel Ward in the popular mini-series “And the Sea Will Tell,” based on the best-selling novel by Vincent Bugliosi. The ABC television movie was based on her real life struggle to create a family and her final choice of a surrogate mother. Deidre Hall was nominated for two People’s Choice Awards for the role of ‘Jesse’ in “Our House” and was nominated two consecutive years as Best Actress by Viewers for Quality Television. Co-starring with Wilford Brimley, Hall and her television family won the first Viewers for Quality Television “Seal of Approval” for a television show. Deidre Hall is the devoted mother of David Atticus Sohmer and Tully Chapin Sohmer, both miracle babies via surrogate birth. She resides in Los Angeles. ### BEN HOLLINGSWORTH (Jonah) – Ben Hollingsworth made his first big impact in the entertainment industry playing a lead role as David Duchovny and Demi Moore's son in “The Joneses.” Hollingsworth continued this big screen success in 2011, appearing in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules.” Since then, he has gone on to appear in several high-profile television projects. Hollingsworth starred in the Ashton Kutcher produced CW series, “The Beautiful Life: TBL.” With his star on the rise from the series and his role in “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules,” Hollingsworth next appeared in many recurring and guest-starring roles on network series. He was cast in a recurring role on USA’s “Suits,” a guest-starring on CBS’s “CSI: Miami,” a guest starring role on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” and on a recurring guest star role on the CW’s, “Cult.” Recently Hollingsworth appeared in a lead role in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.” Currently, he has a recurring role on the CW hit, “The Tomorrow People.” In 2014, Hollingsworth will appear in a lead role in the feature film “Joy Ride 3.” -- HALLMARK CHANNEL -- .

    Hallmark Collection 20000 Leagues Under The Sea In 1867, Professor Aronnax (Richard Crenna), renowned marine biologist, is summoned by the Navy to identify the mysterious sea creature that disabled the steamship Scotia in die North Atlantic. He agrees to undertake an expedition. His daughter, Sophie (Julie Cox), also a brilliant marine biologist, disguised as a man, comes as her father's assistant. On ship, she becomes smitten with harpoonist Ned Land (Paul Gross). At night, the shimmering green sea beast is spotted. When Ned tries to spear it, the monster rams their ship. Aronnax, Sophie and Ned are thrown overboard. Floundering, they cling to a huge hull which rises from the deeps. The "sea beast" is a sleek futuristic submarine, commanded by Captain Nemo. He invites them aboard, but warns if they enter the Nautilus, they will not be free to leave. The submarine is a marvel of technology, with electricity harnessed for use on board. Nemo provides his guests diving suits equipped with oxygen for exploration of die dazzling undersea world. Aronnax learns Nemo was destined to be the king to lead his people into the modern scientific world, but was forced from his land by enemies. Now, he is hoping to halt shipping between the United States and Europe as a way of regaining his throne. Ned makes several escape attempts, but Sophie and her father find the opportunities for scientific study too great to leave. Sophie rejects Nemo's marriage proposal calling him selfish. He shows his generosity, revealing gold bars he will drop near his former country for pearl divers to find and use to help the unfortunate.
