Mythical Maze Summer Reading Challenge 2014

Mythical Maze is this year’s Summer Reading Challenge in libraries all over the country for children aged 4 to 11.

Joining the library and taking part is absolutely free!

Children can sign up at their local library from 12 July to receive a poster of the Mythical Maze. For each of six books they read they earn a sticker showing one of the creatures lurking in the labyrinth. Everyone who reads six books is rewarded with a gold medal and certificate. The promotion ends on 13 September.

The aim of the Summer Reading Challenge is to get children reading during the summer holidays. It is designed for children of all reading abilities and they can read any book they like from the library. Don’t forget that children can also use the internet free, borrow audio books or hire a DVD at the library, and wi-fi is now available in all our libraries.

The Mythical Maze website is packed with games and activities to keep children engaged and motivated to read www.mythical-maze.co.uk 3 Live it Up LIBRARIES
