This Direction is given by Peter Handcock, Chief Executive of Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service, on behalf of the Lord Chancellor after consulting the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with section 2(3) of the County Courts Act 1984. It has effect from when the Civil Courts (Amendment No. 2) Order 2011 and, where applicable, the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment No. 2) Order 2011 come into force in respect of each of above county courts, which is the date that each court ceases to be held. Chorley County Court- ceases to be held as of 12 September 2011 2. Preston County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Chorley County Court. Evesham County Court- ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 3. The district previously served by Evesham County Court is divided between Banbury County Court, Gloucester County Court and Worcester County Court as follows: Banbury County Court takes on the locality of Barton on the Heath within the former district of Evesham County Court. Gloucester County Court takes on the localities of Ganarew, Goodrich, Pencraig, Coughton, Hom Green, Howle Hill, Tudorville and Ross on Wye within the former district of Evesham County Court.
