DIRECTION CHORLEY COUNTY COURT, EVESHAM COUNTY COURT, GRANTHAM COUNTY COURT, KIDDERMINSTER COUNTY COURT, LUDLOW COUNTY COURT, MELTON MOWBRAY COUNTY COURT, NEWARK COUNTY COURT, OSWESTRY COUNTY COURT, RAWTENSTALL COUNTY COURT, REDDITCH COUNTY COURT, RUGBY COUNTY COURT, SHREWSBURY COUNTY COURT, SKEGNESS COUNTY COURT, STOURBRIDGE COUNTY COURT, STRATFORD UPON AVON COUNTY COURT, TAMWORTH COUNTY COURT, WELLINGBOROUGH COUNTY COURT & WORKSOP COUNTY COURT 1. This Direction is given by Peter Handcock, Chief Executive of Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service, on behalf of the Lord Chancellor after consulting the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with section 2(3) of the County Courts Act 1984. It has effect from when the Civil Courts (Amendment No. 2) Order 2011 and, where applicable, the Allocation and Transfer of Proceedings (Amendment No. 2) Order 2011 come into force in respect of each of above county courts, which is the date that each court ceases to be held. Chorley County Court- ceases to be held as of 12 September 2011 2. Preston County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Chorley County Court. Evesham County Court- ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 3. The district previously served by Evesham County Court is divided between Banbury County Court, Gloucester County Court and Worcester County Court as follows: Banbury County Court takes on the locality of Barton on the Heath within the former district of Evesham County Court. Gloucester County Court takes on the localities of Ganarew, Goodrich, Pencraig, Coughton, Hom Green, Howle Hill, Tudorville and Ross on Wye within the former district of Evesham County Court. Worcester County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Evesham County Court. Grantham County Court - ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 4. Boston County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Grantham County Court. Kidderminster County Court - ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 5. The district previously served by Kidderminster County Court is divided between Telford County Court and Worcester County Court as follows: Telford County Court takes on the localities of Alveley, Billingsley, Broad Heath, Chelmarsh, Deuxhill, Frith Common, Glazeley, Hampton, Hanley William, Highley, Middleton Scriven, Neen Savage, Quatt, Romsley, Sidbury, Wolverley and Cookley, Cleobury Mortimer and Kinlet within the former district of Kidderminster County Court. Worcester County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Evesham County Court. Ludlow County Court - ceases to be held as of 3 October 2011 6. The district previously served by Ludlow County Court is divided between Telford County Court and Worcester County Court as follows: Worcester County Court takes on the localities of Adforton, Aymestry, Bockleton, Brampton Bryan, Brimfield, Byton, Combe, Eye Morton Ashton, Kyre, Leintall Starkes, Leintwardine, Leysters, Lingen, Little Hereford, Lucton, Middleton on the Hill, Orleton, Rochford, Stapleton, Stoke Bliss, Tenbury Wells, Wigmore and Yarpole within the former district of Ludlow County Court. Telford County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Ludlow County Court. Melton Mowbray County Court- ceases to be held as of 3 October 2011 7. The district previously served by Melton Mowbray County Court is divided between Kettering County Court, Leicester County Court, Nottingham County Court and Peterborough County Court as follows: Kettering County Court takes on the localities of Manton, Preston and Wing within the former district of Melton Mowbray County Court. Nottingham County Court takes on the localities of Barkestone le Vale, Broughton Lodge, Croxton Kerrial, Eastwell, Eaton, Hose, Plungar, Redmile, Stathern and Upper Broughton within the former district of Melton Mowbray County Court. Peterborough County Court takes on the localities of Cottesmore, Greetham, Stretton, Thistleton and Upper Hambleton within the former district of Melton Mowbray County Court. Leicester County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Melton Mowbray County Court. Newark County Court- ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 8. The district previously served by Newark County Court is divided between Lincoln County Court, Mansfield County Court and Nottingham County Court as follows: Lincoln County Court takes on the localities of Bassingham, Beckingham, Besthorpe, Brant Broughton, Brough, Carlton Le Moorland, Caythorpe, Clifton North & South, Collingham, Claypole, Danethorpe, Dry Doddington, Fenton, Fulbeck, Griton, Holme, Langford, Leadenham, Leadenham Heath, Leadenham Low Fields, Long Bennington, Meering, Morton, Norton Disney, Scarle North & South, Spalford, Stapleford, Stagglethorpe, Stubton, Sutton cum Beckingham, Swinderby, Thurlby, Welbourne, Welbourne Heath, Westborough, Wigsley and Witham St Hughs within the former district of Newark County Court. Mansfield County Court takes on the localities of Eakring, Edingley, Kirklington and Hallam within the former district of Newark County Court. Nottingham County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Newark County Court. Oswestry County Court- ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 9. The district previously served by Oswestry County Court is divided between Telford County Court, Welshpool County Court and Wrexham County Court as follows: Welshpool County Court takes on the localities Arddleen, Bodfach, Bodynfoel, Brithdir, Briw, Brynmawr, Bwlch-y-Cibau, Bwlch-y-Ddar, Carregolfa, Cefn Coch, Coedyrallt, Ddanog, Deytheue, Efailrhyd, Four Crosses, Glanraon, Hirnant, Llandrinio, Llandysilio, Llanfechain, Llanfihangel, Llanfyllin, Llangadwaladr, Llangedwyn. LLangynog, Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, Llansantffraid, Llansilin, Llanwyddyn, Llanymynech, Nantymeichiaid, Newbridge,Peniarth, Pennant, Penrhos, Penybontfawr, Penygarnedd, Rhos Common, Rhydycroesau, Sarnau, Soar, Tederwen, Trederwen Fawr, Tregnanney and Trewylan within the former district of Oswestry County Court. Wrexham County Court takes on the localities of Tregeiriog, Nantyr, Llanarmon DC, Gledrid and Chirk Bank within the former district of Oswestry County Court. Telford County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Oswestry County Court. Rawtenstall County Court- ceases to be held as of 3 October 2011 10. The district previously served by Rawtenstall County Court is divided between Accrington County Court and Burnley County Court as follows: Accrington County Court takes on the localities of Acre, Ewood Bridge, Haslingden, Helmshore, Hud Hey, Irwell Vale, Rakefoot and Rising Bridge within the former district of Rawtenstall County Court. Burnley County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Rawtenstall County Court. Redditch County Court- ceases to be held as of 3 October 2011 11. The district previously served by Redditch County Court is divided between Warwick County Court and Worcester County Court as follows: Warwick County Court takes on the localities of Alcester, Arrow, Cladswell, Coughton, Exhall, Great Alne, Haselor, Kings Coughton, Kinwarton, Morton Bagot, Oversley Green, Shelfield, Spernal, Walcot, Wixford and Wapping within the former district of Redditch County Court. Worcester County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Redditch County Court. Rugby County Court- ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 12. Nuneaton County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Rugby County Court. Shrewsbury County Court - ceases to be held as of 3 October 2011 13. Telford County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Shrewsbury County Court. Skegness County Court- ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 14. Boston County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Skegness County Court. Stourbridge County Court- ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 15. Dudley County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Stourbridge County Court. Stratford upon Avon County Court - ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 16. Warwick County Court takes on all the localities within the former district of Stratford upon Avon County Court. Tamworth County Court - ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 17. The district previously served by Tamworth County Court is divided between Burton upon Trent County Court and Nuneaton County Court as follows: Nuneaton County Court takes on the localities of Austrey, Birchmoor, Dordon, Freasley, Grendon, Hurley, Kingsbury, Piccadilly, Polesworth, St Helena, Warton and Wood End within the former district of Tamworth County Court. Burton upon Trent County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Tamworth County Court. Wellingborough County Court- ceases to be held as of 10 October 2011 18. The district previously served by Wellingborough County Court is divided between Bedford County Court and Kettering County Court as follows: Bedford County Court takes on the localities of Melchbourne, Podington, Wymington and Yelden within the former district of Wellingborough County Court. Kettering County Court takes on the remainder of the localities previously comprising the district of Wellingborough County Court. Worksop County Court- ceases to be held as of 17 October 2011 19.
