These students have completed leadership training, peer mentoring for goal accomplishment, and seminars led by nationally recognized industry leaders. The mission of The Society is “We build leaders who make a better world.” Outstanding Graduates Outstanding Graduates are selected from among nominations made by faculty, staff, and students. To be considered, a student must hold a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA and have demonstrated a positive impact on the college/community through clubs, organizations, student government,employment, or community or campus service. Phi Theta Kappa Students wearing the gold regalia are members of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges. Founded in 1918, its mission is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship programming. Veterans Honors Red Rocks Community College is proud to honor our graduates who are veterans. The red, whiteand blue cords on these graduates designate military personnel who have been honorably discharged.
