Youth – Aged between 12 and 17. Family – Classified as one adult (including senior citizen) and two children both aged between 12 and 15. All parties must strictly be members of the same family. Directors Box Ticket – No age restrictions; a set fee of £50.00 will be added to the price of the applicant’s respective season ticket (not valid for Family Tickets) on the approval of the Club Chairman. Only a limited number of tickets available which will be distributed on a ‘first come – first served’ basis. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. A 2019/20 Ballymena United season ticket will admit the bearer to all home NIFL Premiership games. 2. The ticket will not permit admittance to any games in the Irish Cup, League Cup, County Antrim Shield or Friendly games as these games may require a split gate with the visiting team. 3. The season ticket will admit the bearer only on matchday and is non-transferable. Misuse of your Ballymena United season ticket will result in the ticket being retained by the Club and confiscated from the bearer. 4. Tickets must be produced at the turnstile to the relevant operator. If no ticket is produced, regular matchday admission charges will be applied. 5. The applicant must comply with all rules and regulations of both Ballymena United Football Club and the Ballymena Showgrounds. 6. The applicant must comply with UEFA’s Ten Point Plan. 7. The applicant must comply with the IFA’s ‘Football for All’ campaign. 8. In the event of a lost or stolen ticket, a fee of £5 will be required for the replacement ticket. 9. All tickets are non-refundable as of the first home game of the 2019/20 NIFL Premiership season. 10. The special ‘Early Purchase’ discount offer expires at midnight on Sunday 30 June, 2019. All applications for the “discounted offers” must be received by that date or they will not be processed. There will be no exceptions for late applications. 11. All Cheques must be made payable to ‘Ballymena United FC’. 12.     Intermediate Football Restructure Background One of the long-term objectives within the Irish FA’s 5-year strategy 2017-2022 is to reinvigorate the everyday game. Specifically, within this objective is a proposal for the restructure of Intermediate Football. The restructure aims to raise standards and continue the development of the game at Intermediate level by seeking to improve the standard of football on the pitch, introducing a more standardised league format and enhancing the quality of facilities/spectator experience. It is assumed that NIFL will continue to operate the Premier Intermediate League (National Intermediate League).     Women’s Premiership 2019 Season Review October 2019 – Version 1 Message from the chair As the Chair of the NIFL Women’s Premiership Management Committee I am delighted to introduce the review of the 2019 season. The Women’s Premiership Management Committee is made up of committed individuals from our senior women’s clubs and I would like to thank them for their support and passion in driving the improvement within the top female league in Northern Ireland. While the report will focus on 2019 it is clear that important strides have been made since the formation of the NIFL Women’s Premiership in 2016 and through the work of our clubs and staff within the NI Football League I am pleased to see increasing interest from the local and national media. We are excited as we believe there is still more to come in women’s football. 2019 also welcomed the creation of a new Electric Ireland Women’s Academy League which will aid the development of our clubs and our talented young players. The support from Electric Ireland will allow us to grow and I would like to thank them alongside our Premiership title sponsors Danske Bank, for investing in our future. Status of an unfulfilled season due to exceptional circumstances In the event that the 2020/21 season should be required to halt due to unforeseen circumstances, and it is deemed not possible by government authorities, Irish Football Association or the NIFL Board to complete the season, the final standings will be determined as follows: Fewer than 38 matches played By the end of May 2021, if fewer than 38 matches have been played. • The standings after 33 matches played (when each club has played each other three times) shall determine the league placings. • All sporting consequences flow, including declaration of champion club, promotion and relegation of bottom and top Clubs in divisions, together with European qualification slots. • The top three ranked clubs and the Irish Cup winner will be nominated to participate in the UEFA Club Competitions in accordance with the UEFA Access List. The first club outside Ulster was Dublin Association Football Club which was formed in 1883. At the time, the Irish Football Association (IFA) was the governing body. Based in Belfast, it found it difficult to promote football throughout the country. This led to the formation of the Leinster Football Association in 1892 as the game became more popular in the area. However, there was always a feeling among clubs from outside the Belfast area that the IFA favoured Ulster based clubs-especially when selecting sides for international matches. Despite this, it was not until after the 1916 Rising and the rise of Nationalism that southern affiliates, such as the Leinster FA, took an aggressive approach in their dealings with the IFA. The clubs often threatened to break away, and in early 1921, Bohemians, St. James's Gate and Shelbourne all withdrew from the Irish League, though all three sides decided to remain involved in Cup competitions.

    ISSUE No.1 17 November 2019 Chairman's Update I commend the efforts of our media team and supporters club in highlighting the need for better communication between the club and it's supporters. Particularly in the absence of a functioning website, which we hope to remedy in the next few weeks. I hope that this publication can develop into a regular match day program and that we can have regular input from relevant people and production support from volunteer supporters. In the meantime, here is an update on some important club issues. Riverside Stadium We have now reached an agreed settlement with the insurers. However, we have been told that we will never again be able to acquire flood insurance for that site, as it is situated in the fourth most prone flood plain in Northern Ireland. Consequently, we decided that re-investing the current insurance settlement in the reinstatement of the Riverside, without the possibility of future flood insurance, would be untenable and a dereliction of duty in terms of ensuring the club's long term survival. Thankfully, Sport NI, who provided the original grant for the development of the stadium, have agreed that it would be in keeping with the conditions of that grant for us to reinvest any insurance claim in the development of an alternative site. However, our lease agreement with the landlord, the YMCA, obliges us to return the site to 'green field status' and this will take a very considerable chunk of the insurance settlement, leaving less residual finance to put towards the development of an alternative site.

The U17 men's international team had success in getting to the Elite stage of the U17 European Championship and performed admirably against Belgium and Netherlands, two of the best teams in Europe at this age. At this time last year I referred to the introduction of our Elite Development Programme and after twelve months we can now see the early benefits of this approach and in time it will produce more top players for Northern Jim Shaw Ireland and sustain success on the international President, Irish Football Association stage.     The Northern Ireland Football League Cup 1. Competition Name: a. The competition shall be called the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) Cup. 2. NIFL League Cup Committee a. The control and organisation of the competition shall be vested in the NIFL League Cup Committee. b. The NIFL League Cup Committee shall be formed by the NIFL Board and shall have powers to deal with all matters delegated to it by the Board. 3. Participant Clubs: Only the clubs in membership of the NIFL shall participate in the Competition. 4. Awards: Prize money shall be distributed to participating clubs as determined by the NIFL Board annually and shall be subject to sponsorship being secured for the Competition. The Club winning the trophy will retain it for one year. The trophy shall remain the property of the NIFL. 5. Competition Format a. The competition shall be played on a knockout basis. All ties shall be played to a finish. If at the end of normal playing time the scores are equal then two periods of fifteen (15) minutes each way will be played. If there are no goals scored during extra time the tie shall be decided by kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the conditions set out in the laws of the game. b. There shall be two (2) entry levels with the NIFL Championship & Intermediate Clubs entering in Round 1 and the NIFL Premiership Clubs entering in Round 2. c. The twelve (12) NIFL Premiership Clubs and the top four (4) NIFL Championship Clubs shall be seeded in Round 2.
