BC: Yes, that would be great. You were starting to tell Claire a bit about your cycling career. Can you tell us about that again? I think what we discussed was everyone knew about Ron Cleary. They weren’t aware here that Ron wasn’t the only Belmont fellow in that race, in that six day race. There was myself and Ray Furfaro. Ray lived down the bottom of Hardey Road towards the lights – near the lights – and I am still up this end. They asked about that and they seemed surprised because they only knew about Ron Cleary. So were you living in Belmont for a long time? Were you born in this area? [No, I was born in Sydney but have been in Perth for over 56 years, 54 in Belmont.] Wow! Yes, we’ve been in that house now for fifty-one years.
