Dear all,

As we approach the end of this academic year, I wanted to again thank you all for your continued support. It has been the most challenging year for us all but we have ridden the storm together and will continue to do so as we settle into our new ‘norm’.

There will be a slight change to the staffing structure from September as Miss Langford will no longer be teaching science in KS1. We are currently advertising for an additional teaching assistant who will be providing additional support in KS1 for three mornings per week and in Early Years for three afternoons per week.

Mrs Gilmour, as the senior teacher will be responsible for the day to day running of the school alongside Miss Robey. Any immediate queries or concerns can be directed to your child’s class teacher and then to Mrs Gilmour. I am always available on the phone on the days when I am at our other two schools.

We are also delighted to announce that as of September, the school will be funding music tuition for all of our pupils in KS2. They will be taught by an amazing teacher called Mrs Omar who I have worked with for many years and also provides tuition at our other two schools. In the lessons the children will be learning about the rudiments of music, singing new songs and learning how to play the Violin! She also puts on termly performances for parents to attend and enjoy. Exciting times!

A further letter will follow on Tuesday next week regarding information about the full return in September.
