Introduction

I was first elected as County Councillor for the electoral division in May 1987.

My division lies in the north and east of East and includes the wards of Bagots, Abbey, Churnet and Weaver and part of the ward of Crown ( and Draycott – in – the – Clay and covers approximately 21155 with a population of 12,343.

Applicant Project Amount Stanton Village Hall Renewal of electrical wiring and £500.00 emergency lighting at the village hall. Wootton Cricket Club Catching rebound nets for £500.00 juniors and adults, fielding ‘windbreak’, batting coaching net and a receipt issuing till for the club. St. Giles Hospice Three Dementia roadshow £810.00 events at the Supported Care Centre in Uttoxeter and outlying villages together training volunteers and associated materials Friends of Stafford Cover art work and advertising £200.00 Samaritans on the Backs of Buses in order to recruit new volunteers Stoke on Trent and Batteries, pads and battery £385.00 Staffordshire Safer operated heated boxes for the Communities CIC fitting of defibrillators at local community fire stations. Marchington Tennis and Replacement of the safety £300.00 Bowls Club fence between the bowls shelter and bowling green Mayfield Memorial Hall New cooker for the kitchen £400.00 facility. Marchington Village Hall Handrail for the new access £500.00 ramp as part of the major refurbishment programme of the village hall Rocester FCS - Ladies Ladies football home kit to £800.00 Football Club include shirts, shorts, socks to include printing of club badge and players numbers Rocester Football Club Defibrillator to be use at the £181.60 Football Club Rocester Parish Council CCTV equipment and £750.00 installation to reduce vandalism and anti-social behaviour around the Village hall and Applicant Project Amount Children’s centre. Rocester FC Materials and labour to remove £991.00 an 20 metres section of the spectator barrier and replace for safety reasons Burton Albion Community Activities and sessions for the £600.00 Trust local community to gain and develop independence, social and physical activities and information on key health messages around hydration, nutrition. Six sessions to be held at the village hall at Drayton in the Clay Parish Council Resurfacing of Oak Road Play £582.40 Area Total spend £7500.00
