East Meets West East Meets West East Meets West The Red Thread Proverb An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break. -Chinese Proverb We are so thankful you are here tonight to support and celebrate St. Paul Lutheran School. You are “connected” to St. Paul Lutheran School, whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, close friend, church member, faculty, or community supporter. It takes ALL of us to touch the lives of the students that attend St. Paul. May God lay on your heart what He wants you to contribute to our school’s needs. Please know that you are indeed connected to the students, even if they never know your name or in what capacity you gave of yourself….you will always be connected to them and their future educational growth. We also know that we are ALL connected to God and pray His will is fulfilled in all of us tonight! Blessings and Thank You, Cindi & Tina East Meets West A Letter From our Principals Greetings, We welcome you, the supporters of St. Paul Lutheran School, to St. Paul’s Annual Benefit Auction. The theme this year, “East Meets West”, is based on Matthew 8:11. We have students from east and west, north and south. They come to a Christ-centered environment to be prepared spiritually and scholastically for their fur- ture. Thank you for the role you played this evening by helping to make that possible . Over three hundred students will enjoy the benefits from this auction. Specialty teachers, technology improve- ments, unique classroom needs, tuition assistance, and many other items needed to make St. Paul a great place will be provided by your generosity. We want tonight to be a fun-filled evening. If you have any questions, please contact any faculty member or auction committee member and they will be happy to help you. A special thank you goes out to all who have donated to our auction and to all who have worked so hard to put the auction together. Families, students, faculty and principals appreciate it. Enjoy your evening. We can ALL gather at God’s kingdom to share in His gift of salvation. On a smaller scale, the students that make up St. Paul Lutheran School come from several local and nearby towns and church denominations, resulting in a unique learning experience and treasured life-lessons in embracing others with a core belief in Jesus Christ. Thank you for being a part of fulfilling St. Paul Lutheran School’s mission in providing a Christ- centered, nurturing, educational environment for our students.
