Thank you for your interest in Beckington Cricket Club’s 100-Club. The 100-club is run as a “Small Society Lottery”, as defined in Schedule 11, Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005. This letter provides full details of the lottery, including the information that the above act requires us to provide to you.

The 100-club is registered with Council’s Licensing Department by Beckington Cricket Club. The registration number is LN/009402082. The draw is managed by David Norman, 38 Conigre Square, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8LJ. David is the Secretary of Beckington Cricket Club.

The 100-club is a series of lotteries. Each lottery lasts for 1 year, and consists of 12 draws. There is one draw each month. At least 20% of the proceeds from each lottery will be applied for the purposes of Beckington Cricket Club.

Each ticket in each draw costs five pounds. The tickets for each draw must be bought before the 15 th of the calendar month. Each draw will take place shortly after the end of the period in which tickets may be bought. A maximum of 100 tickets per draw will be sold.

The first draw of each lottery is the December Draw, which is competed for by those who bought their ticket by 15 th December. The last draw of each lottery is the November Draw, which is competed for by those who bought their ticket by 15th November.

All entrants in the lottery must enter for a minimum period of twelve months. The period of entry may start during any calendar month.

Entrants may enter the lottery using one of the following methods:

1. Entrants may set up a Standing Order that pays five pounds to Beckington Cricket Club once a month. A standing order form should have been provided to you with this letter. If it has not, then please ask David to provide one. This standing order must be set up to run for a minimum of twelve months.

2. Entrants may pay a minimum of sixty pounds, by cash or cheque, to Beckington Cricket Club, during the first month in which they wish to take part in the lottery. This money will then be used to buy one ticket per month until it is exhausted. Entrants who use this method of entry may extend their entry at any point by paying a further five pounds per month.

All entrants must fill in the form overleaf. In the event that your contact details change, it is your responsibility to inform the Hundred Club Manager of your new contact details.

All winners will be contacted using the contact details provided to the Hundred Club Manager, either on this form, or through subsequent communication. In the event that the Hundred Club Manager is unable to contact you with these details when you have won a prize, it is your responsibility to contact the Hundred Club Manager to claim your prize. All prizes not claimed within 12 months will be forfeited. Each month, the winners will be draw at random. The number of winners and the value of each prize will be determined based on the number of people in the draw, according to the table below. Each month, the lowest prize will be drawn first, and the highest prize will be drawn last.
