Kilkenny Mobile: 087-9230283 Email; [email protected] Website: www.snorris.ie I have been involved in sport and the GAA for over 45 years as a player, administrator, coach and manager. I have played Hurling and Gaelic Football in a playing career lasting over 24 years. I managed my first GAA team when I was 17, a minor Gaelic Football team that won the Coolagh Tournament. I have coached/managed Hurling, Gaelic Football, Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie for both juveniles and adults at club and all except Camogie at juvenile inter-county level. I have also managed juvenile and adult soccer teams. I am a Business Analyst by profession which requires the fundamental skills necessary for team management/coaching. From 1980 to 1982, I completed a two-year course in International athlete coaching at WRTC. I completed the GAA Foundation Coaching Course in 2003 and in 2008 I completed the Level One Coaching Course. I have done numerous SAQ, Core stability and player welfare courses/workshops and regularly attend many coaching conferences including the GAA National Coaching Conference. I am currently carrying out personal studies in Sport psychology. I am currently GAA Garda vetted. I am organised, methodical, imaginative and knowledgeable and building on experiences year on year. Below are my GAA experience and roles with the relevant coaching and team management roles highlighted. GAA TIMELINE YEAR’s ACHIEVEMENT 1974 Started hurling at Windgap National School 1975-1988 Played Hurling and Gaelic Football for Windgap (U14 to Senior and Junior football) • 1980 - Played one and only Senior Hurling Championship match scoring the equalising goal in drawn relegation playoff • South Under-21 Championship Runners Up (1982 & 1983) • Won South and County Junior Hurling Championship 1986 1976-1979 Played Colleges Hurling and Gaelic Football with Carrick Vocational School Date;
