The area is famous for its cashmere and textile production, as well as its strong traditions in the sport of Rugby Union and the Annual Hawick Common Riding. The three lots lie within the renowned Teviothead Forest Complex which adjoins the extensive Eskdalemuir Forest Complex. The properties benefit from excellent ground and climatic conditions, along with fast and easy access to major timber processing facilities.
