In addition to the items listed here, the Reference Department maintains a file of newspaper clippings, pamphlets, maps, etc. pertaining to New Brunswick. Subjects covered include historic homes and monuments, arts, housing, streets, industries, education, recreation and many others. Clippings date from the 1920’s to the present but cover most of the city’s history. The New Brunswick Daily and Weekly Times, December 1871-August 1916, and the New Brunswick Home News, 1903 to the present, are available on microfilm. It is hoped that this publication will serve as a useful resource and as a guide for the use of these materials.
