Now, seven years in the series, Pennybacker says PBS Hawaii is ready to take Na Mele in a new, exciting direction. “We want to document not only the treasures of traditional Hawaiian music but also a traditional, cherished Hawaiian experience.

This experience is embodied in a beautiful tradition— the Hawaiian trio and dancers at House Without A Key.
